Based on your input on BI capabilities important in India, the free MicroStrategy Reporting Suite is an ideal solution. It appears that this was not clearly presented at the event, though obviously you’ve drawn the connection in suggestion #6.

PS Many MicroStrategists also note that there’s not enough Vegetarian food at our events. I’d say about 1/3 of us are Vegetarian too. Glad to hear at least that the food was very good. Also, Mumbai traffic sounds like Washington, DC metro traffic. Nightmare.
